Rafael Barias sign DaJuan Summers

DaJuan Summers

Club Rafael Barias (TBS) signed experienced 36-year old American power forward DaJuan Summers (203cm-109kg-1988, college: Georgetown). He played this summer at Ball Hogs (Big3) in the U.S. The last seasonhe played for different teams. He ended the season at Skygunners in South Korean KBL where in 16 games he had 6.7ppg and 2.1rpg.
In 2009 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (35th overall). Summers graduated from Georgetown University and it will be his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Summers has played in seventeen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), France (Metropolitans), Iran (Mahram), Italy, Japan (Magic), Korea (Knights), Lebanon (Homentmen), Philippines (Painters), Puerto Rico (Indios), Saudi Arabia (Ittihad), Spain (Gran Canaria), Taiwan (Kings), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Galatasaray), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), NBA (LA Clippers and NY Knicks), NBA G League (Westchester Knicks) and Big3 (Tri-State).
Among many awards his college team made it to the Bahrain Cup final in 2023. Summers was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague 1st Team in 2022.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Rafael Barias.
